Mithril Dragon Guide

Mithril Dragons are level 304 dragons. They are currently the strongest metal dragon and they are the only metal dragons that drop 3 Mithril bars per kill. They also drop the rare Dragon Full Helm and Draconic Visage. Killing these dragons takes a good amount of effort since they use 4 types of attack styles [melee, dragon fire, ranged, magic]. The cavern they are located at is highly dangerous. DO NOT ATTEMPT THESE UNLESS YOU ARE PLANNING ON RISKING YOUR ITEMS.

Location: Whirlpool south of Barbarian Assault.

Requirements:
-Completion of the Barbarian Fire making Training with Otto God blessed (found south of the Barbarian Outpost.)
-Anti-dragon Shield or Dragonfire Sheild
-Suggested
-80+ range to range them
-I wouldn't suggest maging unless you're 90+ mage
-80+ in each melee stat to melee efficiently
-70 defense to wear Karils
-Anti fire potions.
-50+ prayer

Most common and easiest method of killing Mithrils is ranging them.
Use ruby (e) and diamond (e) together for efficient kills.
2 ways to kill these with range.
1) Range them from a far with protect from range on while wearing karils or better.
2) Range them from close with protect from melee on since they use melee alot often than others, also wear karils or higher for this method since they will still range and melee. I suggest wearing karils top and veracs skirt.

Suggested Set-up:
-Archer or neitz helm
-Karils top
-Ruby (e) and Diamond (e)
-Rune Cross Bow
-Verac Skirt
-Dragon Boots
-Dragonfire Shield/ Antidragon shield
-Glory or Fury
-Accumulator
-Ring of Life/ Wealth

Inventory:
-One Click Tele [tabs, ectophial, ect.]
-Game Room Necklace to teleport to Barbarian Outpost
-2 or more Anti fire Potions (4)
-1 Ranging Potions (4)
-4 or more Prayer Potions
-[extras such as a secondary weapon, bolts, scrolls, summoning pouch,ect.]
-Rest should be Sharks or better.

[Note: You cannot take a familiar into the whirlpool with you, you have to summon one inside the cavern. I suggest taking a bun yip, ice titan, unicorn, or any other healing familiar.]
